Dr. Jacob Bender stops by to talk about the social and cultural events of his lifetime, including medicine during the Civil War. And there's plenty of time for interaction, comments and questions with the good doctor. Dr. Bender is portrayed by Jack Krafft, who presents Living History programs at the Gettysburg National Military Park.

Miss Sarah, head housekeeper of the Costello home is many things, including strict, prim, proper and stern. She is also very loyal to the Costello family and therefore knows many family secrets. Portrayed by Linda Krafft, co-owner of the lodge with her husband.

Mazie Girl is young and working hard to support her family. However she can frequently be found at the "pigsear", a speakeasy of the 1880's Potter County. Portrayed by Nancy Rees Rudolph. Her family has lived on the same farm in Potter County for four generations. |
